Tens of thousands of Iraqi Christians have been displaced from their homes, fleeing the Islamic State caliphate which demands facing paying heavy fines, renouncing of faith in Christ, or execution.

These Christians, whose ancestors have inhabited Northern Iraq since the first century A.D., were forced to leave with only the clothes on their backs. Their possessions, money, vehicles and personal identification papers were taken from them.

Now, many are facing the onset of cold weather in Northern Iraq without shelter or warm clothing.
