Two Important Things

Dear Pastor,

We are holding a press conference lobby day on Wednesday, May 11th at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Statehouse in the Ladies Gallery. Immediately following the press conference, we will meet with groups of pastors who are coming from around the State of Ohio, and we will knock on the doors of our Ohio House and Senate members, urging them to support the Ohio Pastor Protection Act, H.B. 286. State Rep. Nino Vitale has been taking a tally of House members who support, who oppose, and who are undecided on the bill. We will have this information available to each of the pastors as they meet with their legislators. Church members and constituents will be calling while we are meeting with legislators. We want to make sure that the Ohio Legislature is well aware that this is a serious issue to protect religious liberty in the State of Ohio. Please join us on Wednesday, May 11th at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Statehouse. Spread the word to your fellow clergy friends and bring them with you. We will all have lunch and fellowship at the restaurants around Capitol square. Kansas Governor Sam Brownback is one of America's most conservative governors.

Governor Brownback signed the Kansas Religious Freedom Preservation Act,  and issued an executive order on religious liberty last year after the SCOTUS same sex marriage ruling, stating that the order protects Kansas clergy and religious organizations from being forced to participate in activities that violate their sincerely and deeply held beliefs.

During his two terms in the U.S. Senate, he had a consistent one hundred percent prolife voting record and sponsored key prolife legislation. He was the leading lawmaker behind a bill that would ban all forms of human cloning. As Governor of Kansas, he has signed sixteen pro-life legislative bills - most recently the first-in-the-nation ban on dismemberment abortions.

Governor Brownback continues to fight Obamacare. He has blocked numerous attempts to expand Medicaid in his state. He has cut taxes, streamlined state government, and is known as a man who keeps his word.
