President Trump's Ban on Transgenders Serving in the U.S. Military
Today, President Trump made the following statement by Executive Order
"After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow...Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming..victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you."
The Ohio Christian Alliance supports President Trump's decision to ban transgenders from the U.S. Military. The following is a quick note that OCA President Chris Long sent the President in response to his decision:
Dear Mr. President Trump, Thank you for taking a strong stand on behalf of our military today with your announcement banning transgenders from the U.S. military. As you stated in your release today, our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the distraction and cost that the transgender in the military would entail. The military is no place for social experiments. It is for the readiness for defense of our country. The service military ranks and military families stand with you. Thank you, Mr. President, and God bless you.
-Christopher R. Long
