Dear Representative Louis W. Blessing:  

I am writing to you because you are the Chair of the House Government Accountability and Oversight Committee. HCR 10 is currently in the House Government Accountability and Oversight Committee and urgently needs to have a hearing and be brought to a vote prior to the House summer recess.
Unfortunately, Jewish people in Ohio, according to The Canary Mission Report on Greater Cleveland, Ohio April 2017 are facing increasing, blatant acts of anti-semitism on Ohio's university and college campuses. HCR 10 would help stem the anti-semitic attitudes by firmly stating Ohio's resolve to stand with and express support for both Ohio's Jewish population and the State of Israel.
I believe the Ohio House needs to act on HCR 10 because the Ohio Constitution, Article 1, Section 7, explicitly states:
"Religion, morality, and knowledge, however, being essential to good government, it shall be the duty of the general assembly to pass suitable laws to protect every religious denomination in the peaceable enjoyment of its own mode of public worship, and to encourage schools and the means of instruction."
